Rock and Shock 2017 is coming to Worcester, MA. – Here’s a sneak peek at what you can expect!
Heads-up horror and rock fans–Rock and Shock 2017 is coming to Worcester, Massachusetts! Here’s guest contributor Michael Welch, one of the event’s organizers, with more details…Now in its 14th year, the Rock and Shock convention is once again returning to downtown Worcester’s DCU Center and Palladium Friday, October 13th through Sunday, October 15. A multifaceted event, Rock and Shock takes a normal horror convention, which includes celebrity meet and greets, vendors, films, seminars and more, and turns it on its ear by adding three nights of concerts from many of today’s biggest and heaviest bands down the street from the venue at the historic Palladium.
This year the convention will feature guests such as Tom Payne (The Walking Dead), Pollyanna McIntosh (The Walking Dead, The Woman) and Adam Green (Hatchet, Digging Up the Marrow). Plus, on Friday the 13th at 5 p.m., Kane Hodder once again resurrects his immortal performance as Jason Voorhees by donning the character’s wardrobe and makeup for a very rare professional photo opportunity. If you still have energy left after all that, head over to the Palladium, where this year you can see bands like Ministry, Death Grips, Motionless in White, Superjoint and Twiztid take the stage on different days for performances you won’t forget.
Celebrating its 14th show, Rock and Shock continues to grow each year, and we hope you will be a part of it with us. Check out Rock and Shock’s official website for more celebrity and band info as well as ticket information.
