Netflix’s The Punisher finally has a release date (and a new trailer)

“The world needs to see the truth.”

Netflix has released a second official trailer for The Punisher, the latest series from themselves and Marvel set in gritty New York City. Frank Castle joins other Marvel properties Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage and Iron Fist, who collectively made up The Defenders earlier this year.

The Punisher has been highly anticipated, especially after actor Jon Bernthal did such a great job with the role in the second season of Daredevil. The release of the series has been pretty secretive, though, and shrouded in controversy: Marvel was set to premiere the first episode of the show at New York Comic Con earlier this month, but the mass shooting in Las Vegas caused them to reconsider glorifying a cold-blooded murderer so quickly.

At the end of the trailer above, we finally have a release date: November 17, 2017. In less than a month you’ll be able to witness all the vigilante justice you can handle.
