Warner Bros.’ classic 1990s animated series, Animaniacs, is returning in the form of a Hulu series. Hulu has picked up the show for two seasons, according to a Variety report. The show will be released on the streaming service in 2020.

Animaniacs originally aired on Fox Kids from 1993 to 1995, and was produced by Steven Spielberg, who will return to produce the reboot. The show follows Yakko, Wakko, and Dot, three cartoon characters of nondescript species who were, in the show, created in the 1930s and escaped imprisonment in the 90s. It’s a bonkers, off-the-wall show with no set format, resembling a variety show at times.

The show was immensely popular and well received by critics, and many of its jokes and memorable moments live on today. The set a records for most Daytime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Achievement in Music Direction and Composition for an animated series, an accolade the show won three times.

Animaniacs is the latest in a long line of renewed interest in 1990s television, following in the footsteps of Fuller House, The X-Files and Rocko’s Modern Life.
