Who would win, Hulk or Thanos? ‘Avengers: Infinity War’ directors give their answer

Hulk or Thanos? Who is the strongest one there is? And who would win in a fight? Avengers: Infinity War director Joe Russo gives us his definitive answer.

The Hulk is considered by many to be the strongest Avenger in the physical sense, and if angry enough, potentially the strongest character in the Marvel Universe. So how does he stack up to Thanos, who Avengers: Infinity War director Joe Russo has described as the primary character in the upcoming film?

In a recent interview with Stefan Pape of HeyUGuys, Joe gave a pretty definitive answer to the question of who would win in a fight between Hulk and the Mad Titan:

I mean it’s like death comes to call for the Avengers. This is a nearly unbeatable force who is determined to destroy half the life in the universe to bring it to balance. He sees it as an overgrown garden that he needs to prune. As you mentioned, he is fairly invincible. He’s a sort of genetic mutation who’s the Genghis Khan of the universe. He’s unbeatable on the battlefield, stronger than the Hulk, skin is invincible. So it’s going to cost the Avengers something to defeat him.”
