World of Warcraft: Dark Iron Dwarves and Mag’har Orcs are now playable in Battle For Azeroth alpha

“Interested in joining the mile deep club?”

There are plenty of new features, zones, dungeons, and game modes coming to Battle For Azeroth, the seventh expansion for World of Warcraft. But let’s be honest: the main event is playing those sweet, sweet new allied races. Today we have the opportunity to try two more of them out, as Dark Iron Dwarves and Mag’har Orcs are now playable in the latest Battle For Azeroth alpha build.

As we noted earlier, these allied races come with some interesting class options. Mag’har Orcs can be priests, in contrast with the classic greenskin Orcs. Dark Iron Dwarves can be everything except Druid, Demon Hunter and Death Knight, and even get a special Core Hound paladin mount.

To play Dark Iron Dwarves or Mag’har Orcs today, log into the Battle For Azeroth alpha today. If you haven’t gotten invited yet, don’t worry — invites are going out with increased frequency as Blizzard aims to tighten the game up ahead of its August 14th release.
