Avengers: Infinity War

James Gunn confirms a character’s last words in Avengers: Infinity War

Not for the faint of heart: The final words of a certain character in Avengers: Infinity War will have you in your feelings.

Warning: Spoilers for Avengers: Infinity War ahead.

Even if you’re one of the few people remaining who hasn’t yet seen Avengers: Infinity War, you already know that facing the Mad Titan Thanos will bring a heavy price to pay for Earth’s Mightiest Heroes et al.

For those of you who have seen the movie already and had finally come to terms with the ending? Our apologies for the following bit of information from James Gunn himself surrounding the final words of everyone’s favorite sentient, ligneous character:

Damn. Right in the feels. Remember, we’re just the messengers. And in the eternal words of Yondu: “He may have been your father, boy, but he wasn’t your daddy.” *wipes away tears*
