Watch the second trailer for ‘Venom’

“I have been…taken…”

Sony Pictures has released the second trailer for their upcoming film Venom, in association with Marvel. The new trailer shows many new shots of Venom’s actual face and body, something we didn’t get in the first trailer, and honestly, it looks pretty great. The trailer also shows Eddie/Venom taking out a bunch of cops who don’t realize what they’re getting themselves into.

Venom is Sony’s first Spider-Man-related release since they made an agreement with Marvel Studios to allow Spider-Man to appear in several Marvel movies, such as Spider-Man: Homecoming and Infinity War.

Venom will be released to theaters in the United States on October 5, 2018. It stars Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock/Venom, Michelle Williams as Anne Weying, and Riz Ahmed as Carlton Drake/Riot.
