Nerf this! Overwatch’s D.Va has her gun turned into an actual Nerf gun

I’m gonna have to shoot you down!

Blizzard and Nerf first teased their partnership back in May of this year on Twitter. Then a few weeks ago at San Diego Comic Con fans got a look at the first product of this partnership, the Nerf Rival Overwatch Reaper Wight Edition blaster.

Today D.Va becomes the second Overwatch hero to get the Nerf treatment, with her fan favorite Light Gun becoming the next piece to join the Nerf Rival collection. Blizzard made the announcement via the official Overwatch Twitter account.

There’s no exact date available on when D.Va’s gun will be on sale, all we know at this time is that we can expect it in 2019. What we do know is Nerf is promising fans that projectiles from the Light Gun will fire up to 80 feet per second and a feature known as recoil action will be included. I can only assume the gun will somehow have a kick to it, which will be impressive considering it fires small pieces of styrofoam.

No word yet on what other heroes will be receiving a Nerf Rival treatment, though I’d be shocked if Soldier: 76 and McCree don’t make the lineup. At this time prices have yet to be announced.
