Bryan Cranston and NYCC’s ‘SuperMansion’ panel tease Thanksgiving special and more

Bryan Cranston, Breckin Meyer, Zeb Wells and Matthew Senreich were on hand.

On the night season 3 dropped on Crackle, the cast and creators of the stop-motion series SuperMansion were on hand at New York Comic Con with an exclusive trailer for a Thanksgiving special titled “A Prayer for Mr. T: The SuperMansion Thanksgiving Special,” that will air on November 15th.

Series creators Matthew Senreich and Zeb Wells (Jewbot/Robobot), as well as Producer Bryan Cranston (Titanium Rex) and Breckin Meyer (Courtney), showed an additional clip from the season for those at Comic Con who haven’t had the opportunity to binge season 3 yet. In the scene, Cranston’s aging superhero is a guest at Comic Con where he bears witness to American Werewolf in London’s David Naughton’s over the top diva behavior.

The panel also discussed their Robot Chicken roots, their original plan to hire someone to do a Cranston voice before the real Bryan Cranston came on board, as well as Cranston’s early voice work as various creatures on Power Rangers.

“The hero has to be just a fraction smarter than the antagonist,” Cranston said of hero and villain relationships. The former Walter White told the NYCC audience he hates when antagonists are written to suddenly start making stupid decisions just so the hero can win.

SuperMansion season 3 is available for streaming now on Sony Crackle.
