The Hulk goes to Hell in January’s ‘Immortal Hulk’ #11 [NYCC 2018]

This will probably not help his anger issues.

The Hulk’s had a hard time of it lately. The poor, big, green guy can’t even die and get it to stick. Starting in January, that may change.

Revealed today at New York Comic Con’s “Marvel:  True Believers” panel, writer Al Ewing’s Immortal Hulk will begin an arc in January title “Hulk in Hell,” with issue #11. The super-secret panel prohibited photography, but the cover of Immortal Hulk #11, painted by Alex Ross, was shown, with an emaciated Hulk crawling out of a fiery pit.

“That kind of says it all, doesn’t it?” Ewing said. “It’s the Hulk in Hell!”

Joe Bennett will be handling the interiors on Immortal Hulk #11, but Ewing assured the crowd there was plenty of Alex Ross awesomeness still to come, and he wouldn’t have it any other way.

“Just having him on the covers is mind-blowing,” Ewing said.
