First trailer for ‘Lucifer’ season 4 arrives

The demonic fourth Season begins May 8th.

One of the best things about modern TV is the sense of hope you can get now when a show’s cancelled. Before, if a show was cancelled, by and large, you knew it was now over. Now, it could return as a comic, like Revolution or Buffy, or get a new season on another network or streaming service.

After three seasons, FOX cancelled Lucifer, with many fans campaigning for Netflix to revive the series. After a lot of passionate campaigning, Netflix picked  Lucifer up for a fourth Season. Now, the streaming service has dropped the first trailer for Lucifer’s return:

The trailer shows both Lucifer and partner Chloe struggling after the Detective saw his true, devil face. In his nightclub, Lux, he meets Eve, who he tempted to sin in the Garden of Eden many years ago. At one point, we see Lucifer with his devil face and before that, we see him emerging from a burning building.

In Lucifer, Morningstar becomes bored ruling Hell, so abandons it, opening a nightclub called Lux in Los Angeles. He becomes embroiled in a murder case with Detective Chloe Decker, who intrigues him due to being immune to his abilities. The two work together on murder cases in LA.

Season 4 of Lucifer arrives on Netflix on May 8th.
