Coolest, most intimidating Pokemon in Sword and Shield so far? Corviknight

Quoth the Corviknight: Nevermore.

Move over Murkrow. Scram Skarmory. A new avian archduke has been promised in Pokemon Sword and Shield. And its name is Corviknight. When it comes to bad-ass looks, intimidation and overall coolness, Corviknight takes the cake so far for us at first glance in the Galar region.

According to the official Pokemon website, Corviknight is the “dashing Lord of the skies.”

It is said that Corviknight is the strongest Pokémon living in the skies of the Galar region. It can often be seen fearlessly soaring through the air. Many say that any Pokémon foolish enough to challenge Corviknight are sent running with just a sharp glare and cry from this fearsome Pokémon.

Corviknight may not be just a “pretty” face, though; if you’re a fan of competitive Pokemon you’re certainly familiar with the defensive dynamo and physical wall that is Skarmory; so we’re guessing Corviknight, who’s gifted with the same Flying/Steel type combination will float more towards an offensive skill and moveset but still have plenty of staying power. That being said, Corviknight the Raven Pokemon has Pressure/Unnerve as its Ability, looks awesome with its jet black finish and dwarfs most other Flying Pokemon (including Skarmory and even Charizard) at a whopping 7’3″. That’s one big bird.

Already the internet has been clamoring over Corviknight’s awe-inspiring aesthetic and scary size and we’re in complete agreement. Here are some of our favorite Corviknight tributes thus far from across the internet.

Corviknight is hands down the coolest new Pokémon announced so far for Sword/Shield from kindafunny

Do you think Corviknight is the coolest/most bad-ass looking Pokemon of Galar region bunch? If not, which Pokemon do you think looks coolest from the Nintendo Direct Pokemon Sword and Shield reveal? Let us know in the comments.
