‘The Amazing Mary Jane’ miniseries is coming this fall from Leah Williams

Face it Tiger, we’ve hit the jackpot.

There were several reveals during the Spider-Man panel at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con, but one of the most enticing one is that Mary Jane is getting her own miniseries.

The Amazing Mary Jane will begin this October, and is set to be written by Leah Williams and drawn by Carlos Gomez. At the panel, assistant editor Kathleen Wisneski said the book will be about Mary Jane going to Hollywood and it will feature a lot of action. Amazing Spider-Man writer Nick Spencer is very excited, and couldn’t stop gushing about Williams’ writing.

Marvel’s description of the series says:

In a story spinning from the pages of AMAZING SPIDER-MAN #25, Mary Jane Watson just got her big shot — but at what cost? And can she really trust anyone as she pursues her Hollywood dreams?
