Sigma, Overwatch‘s 31st hero, will be released on the game’s Public Test Region at 2pm ET today. The character’s abilities and gameplay were shown to the world for the first time via popular streamer Seagull’s Twitch stream, and revealed that he is a tank with projectile weapons, a shield similar to Symmetra’s old shield ability, and a black hole ultimate ability.

Sigma joins Reinhardt and Orisa as the only “shield tanks” in the game, able to generate barriers to protect his allies. The shield has 1500 health, making it a bit weaker than Reinhardt’s, but significantly stronger than Orisa’s.
