Watch: Trailer for ‘Invader Zim: enter the Florpus’

Nickelodeon’s Invader Zim: Enter The Florpus is heading to Netflix.

Stop packing for your Area 51 raid because an alien is heading straight to your Netflix streaming service. Nickelodeon’s Invader Zim: Enter The Florpus is heading to Netflix.

What does Zim have planned?  A violent takeover? Will Gir be there? The answers are probably and yes! Netflix has released the trailer for the 90 minute Invader Zim film. It’s full of maniacal laughter and audiences will be left wondering as to why Zim is so gleeful in the bathroom?

Created by Jhonen Vasquez, the animated show Invader Zim aired on Nickelodeon from 2001-2002 and gathered a cult following. So much was Invader Zim missed that six unaired episodes finally debuted on Nickelodeon in 2006. Invader Zim was a cartoon that centered on the alien Zim whose sole mission was to go to Earth and enslave the human race. His plans were foiled by Dib, a kid investigator whose sole mission was to stop Zim from succeeding.

Invader Zim: Enter the Florpus is scheduled to air on Netflix on August 16th.
