New horror streaming service Midnight Movie Society will soon be available

MVD Entertainment Group and Rue Morgue have joined demonic forces to bring to you the Midnight Movie Society, a subscription video on demand service for horror lovers.

The days of wandering around the horror aisle of video stores might be over, but that does not mean there still aren’t plenty of other ways to browse over hundreds of movie titles. MVD Entertainment Group and Rue Morgue have joined demonic forces to bring to you the Midnight Movie Society, a subscription video on demand service for horror lovers.

Many might know Rue Morgue for Rue Morgue magazine and the movie collections and memorabilia available at their site. MVD is known for its music and movie collections. The collaboration between the two is designed to provide the viewers with a thorough collection of horror films that meets all fan needs.

Clint Weiler of MVD says that this partnership allows for fans to “gain access to a film library of shocking underground, outrageous gore, creature features, cult classics, and much more!”

In addition to hosting the more obscure or avant-garde films, the Midnight Movie Society will also provide access to more traditional horror fare. Midnight Movie Society will have monthly subscriptions for 4.99 and yearly subscriptions for 47.88. The service will be available on iOS, Roku, and the web most appropriately on Friday the 13th, September 2019.
