Raw and SmackDown commentator Corey Graves claimed today on Twitter that he is retiring from the role.
Just to clear up all of the rumors I see swirling around about the commentary changes in @WWE–
I’m retiring.
— Corey Graves (@WWEGraves) September 12, 2019
This announcement comes in response to rumors swirling about WWE shaking up both the Raw and SmackDown commentary teams once SmackDown moves to Fox this October. It is strongly rumored that WWE will be reinstating a clearer separation between the two brands, and that would include commentary teams.
However, Corey Graves is notorious for trolling and toying with fans on social media, so it’s hard to completely take this declaration at face value. I guess we’ll have to wait and find out this October.
