Game of Thrones: Jon Snow and crew are approaching an important mountain we’ve seen before in S7, Episode 6

There’s something interesting about the mountain Jon Snow and company were seen approaching at the end of Game of Thrones S7E5, “Eastwatch”.

Reddit user RKRagan noticed an interesting similarity in Game of Thrones S7E5 “Eastwatch” — that mountain Jon Snow and his Fellowship of the Wight are approaching? The opposite side of the very same one in Bran’s vision of the past where the Children of the Forest created the White Walkers and the same one from The Hound’s vision (“a mountain, looks like an arrowhead”) in the fire.

This lends further evidence to the theory that the White Walkers also bring the icy winter with them wherever they go — and were likely the cause for the creation of The Land of Always Winter as well. Will the locale play yet another pivotal role to the Game of Thrones narrative in the next episode? We’ll find out Sunday, August 20th.
