‘Deadpool’ director Tim Miller to develop Kitty Pryde solo film for 20th Century Fox

A Kitty Pryde solo movie directed by Deadpool’s Tim Miller may soon be in the works.

Kitty Pryde fans, rejoice: sources at Collider indicate that Deadpool director Tim Miller is set to helm a solo project starring the matter-phasing mutant.

At this point it’s unknown whether Ellen Page, who played Kitty in X-Men: The Last Stand and X-Men: Days of Future Past, will reprise her role or whether the impending Disney/Fox deal will put a damper on the movie from being made at all — but the film would be an interesting shift away from the usual cast of X-Men that have been featured time and time again on the silver screen. AiPT! will keep you updated as more information becomes available.

Would you watch a Kitty Pryde feature film? Should Lockheed, Kitty’s long time purple alien dragon companion make an appearance? What about some of her other Excalibur/X-Men teammates? Let us know in the comments.
