2018 San Diego Comic Con toy exclusives- Updated 07/11/18

It’s that time of the year again, San Diego Comic Con is right around the corner. AiPT! will be there, will you? Well, no worries if you can’t make it there, we got you covered. One thing that we all love about SDCC is the exclusives! I’m like a lot of you readers and I scour the net in hopes of snagging something cool before its all sold out and the sharks take over eBay for the next few months with insane price points. Enough talk, let’s take a look at some exclusives! Also check back as this is will be updated often.


You know Hasbro is going to have something cool for us collectors out there. Starting with the Black Series Centerpiece Rey (Starkiller Base) & Kyle Ren Figures, highlighting the exciting battle between Rey and Kylo Ren from The Force Awakens. The 6-inch scene will retail for $109.99, and will include an exclusive water mister for steam effects and an acrylic light-up backdrop.

If you are looking for more a classic Star Wars setting, then check out the Black Series Han Solo & Mynock Figures. Even the packaging is sweet as Han appears on the Millennium Falcon’s ramp wearing a breathing mask with fog added for effect to set the scene inside the belly of the giant space slug. The set will sell for $34.99.

Next up is the Vintage Collection Doctor Aphra Comic Set based on the Marvel Star Wars comics, including her droid buddies, Triple Zero and BT-1. The 3.75″ scale three-pack will retail for $49.99, and comes in vintage style packaging, and includes three accessories.

Hasbro will also release a retro 80’s-themed Bumblebee Vol. 1 Retro Rock Garage. Designed after the Bumblebee prequel set to come out in December of this year, Bumblebee comes with two transforming cassettes, Dairu and Uruaz. The two cassettes were originally only available in Japan, but you can get your hands on them now. The set is going to sell for $60.

Shared late last week is the Marvel Legends Series Defenders Rail Authority 5 Pack. This set features figures from Netflix’s The Defenders series. Included are Luke Cage, Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, Daredevil, and Colleen Wing. The 6″ figure set will sell for $124.99.  PS- even the packaging is cool!

(Update July 11th) fans attending San Diego Comic-Con will get the first look at four cards from the new Transformers trading card game that will land in stores later this year. There will be a limited amount available for purchase at the Hasbro booth. Each set will contain two Transformers character cards (Cliffjumper and Slipstream) and two battle cards (Tandem Targeting System and All Out Attack). These four cards will not be available in the retail set, so good luck in landing a set!

(Update July 11th) Because we all love Transformers, there is another SDCC exclusive. Transformers: Generations Power of the Primes Throne of the Primes. This set features Nexus Prime, Prima Prime, Amalgamous Prime, and the legendary 13th Prime comic-con exclusive Prime Master action figures. Included is also a Scepter of Sparks, designed to hold four Prime Master figures. There is also the Halo of Primus display that has the ability to hold 12 Prime Master figures.

(Update July 11th) I dig the Porgs! Hasbro has shown their latest SDCC exclusive, Star Wars Forces of Destiny Chewbacca and Porgs set. The set will include an electronic Chewbacca figure that makes sounds when he is activated, two adult porg figures, and a porg nest that contains two baby porgs! The set will be on sale for $49.99 at the Hasbro Booth.

(Update July 11th) Also announced is the SDCC Marvel Legends exclusive of the Red Skull and electronic Tesseract. Red Skull stands at 6″ tall and comes with a mini Tesseract, but it also comes with a 3.63 square inch Tesseract that lights up in alternating light patters. Snag it for $59.99.

(Update July 11th) My Little Pony! They are hitting SDCC with an exclusive of their own in the My Little Pony Established 1983 Greatest Hits set. The set includes Pinkie Pie showing off an 80s inspired workout outfit. Rainbow Dash with a rainbow mohawk and punk outfit. The ponies are 3″ and the set comes with 3 cassette style collector cards with an 80s theme.


Super7 will be returning to San Diego this year and they have a bunch of Masters of the Universe goodies with them. She-Ra and the Horde Keshi surprise boxes will make their debut, as well as a She-Ra vs Hordak ReAction 2-Pack. And another exclusive that I would love to get my hands on, the Laughing Prince Adam action figure based on the famous viral video.

Kotobukiya has a sweet exclusive DC Comics Dark Supergirl Bishoujo statue. The details on this statue are incredible and it will sell for $84.99.
