I love bringing some rigor to pop culture questions in my duty as AiPT! Science Editor, but sometimes you just have to get a little more … physical.
So I’m also on the board of directors for a group called the New York City Skeptics, which co-promotes the annual Northeast Conference on Science and Skepticism (NECSS), a four-day event with workshops and speakers, where ordinary folks can mingle with their rationally-minded role models. Yes, IRL!
And while there isn’t any cosplay, there are plenty of people looking to let their geek flag fly with their apparel. Here are some of the best shirts I (and others from the convention crew) spotted this past weekend, at the 10th annual NECSS.
