The smash-hit show The Walking Dead enters its ninth season this October on AMC. To get us in the TWD mood, AMC has released a series of press images from the first as of yet untitled premiere episode.
Season 8 concluded on April 15, 2018 after a 16 episode run largely based on issues #115-126 of the Image comic book. Season 9 marks the end for character Rick Grimes, as actor Andrew Lincoln will be leaving the show after season 9 concludes. The season will focus on the united communities and the threats they face — both inside and outside the alliance’s walls.
