The Paris Eternal announced yesterday that daemoN was stepping down as the team’s head coach, and former player development coach, Félix “Féfé” Münch, was announced not long after as daemoN’s replacement. Neither the Eternal or daemoN provided any reason behind the coaching changes made, but daemoN promised on his Twitter to provide additional context “later on.”
Prior to his time with the Paris Eternal, daemoN worked in several coaching roles with the Los Angeles Valiant. Overwatch League wasn’t his first foray into professional esports, the 22-year-old French native was previously a professional League of Legends player and coach for the French team GamersOrigin — holding roles in coaching and analyst for Rogue and MoviStar.
“DaemoN brings expertise to our team that will be important to our success and player development in the current and future metas,” said Aero of Dallas Fuel. “We’re excited to have someone with daemoN’s passion for competition and experience working with the Fuel.”
The Dallas Fuel’s opening match in Stage 2 of Overwatch League is scheduled for 6:30PM EST Friday, April 13 against the Toronto Defiant.
