How Greedo, Jedi Ki-Adi-Mundi, and Jabba the Hutt converge in ‘Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge’ #2

Greedo always shoots first.

Spoilers ahead. You’ve been warned.

In a surprising turn, the ever famous bounty hunter who got shot by Han Solo takes center stage in Marvel Comics’ new series Galaxy’s Edge #2 this week. Opening with Ki-Adi-Mundi wielding a lightsaber, the story goes in and out of the “now” of the story (which takes place during Kylo Ren’s reign) eventually landing on Greedo.

Look at that pose! We soon learn he’s doing a job for Jabba the Hutt. Jabba wants a banker kidnapped and he wants him alive.

It’s a classic heist adventure and I highly recommend you check out the full issue to see how badass Greedo is in this one. It involves plenty of fighting, blasting…

…and even lightsaber swiping!

For the record that is Ki-Adi-Mundi’s lightsaber wielded by a no-good scoundrel of a bounty hunter. Poor guy. Long story short, Greedo lets the banker die and Jabba couldn’t care less about the lightsaber. That said, in the following page below we see Jabba give him a new job.

Chances that bounty he’s after goes by the name Han Solo? It’s a fun wrinkle which adds a lot of weight to this series and the story as a whole.
