Xbox Game Pass for PC is here

Over 100 high quality PC games will be on the service by August.

Microsoft announced today at their E3 Briefing that Xbox Game Pass for PC, long rumored, is now here. “Our goal is for you to be able to play any game with anyone, anywhere. And we know for a lot of you that means PC,” said Sarah Bond, head of Xbox partnerships. The service will feature “100 high quality PC games by August,” and will include the entire Halo: The Master Chief Collection.

Xbox Game Pass for PC launches in open beta today for $9.99 a month. If you are an Xbox One owner and already have Xbox Live, you may want to opt for the Xbox Live Ultimate plan, however. Ultimate gives you Xbox Game Pass for Console, PC, and Xbox Live Gold for $14.99 a month, effectively giving you Xbox Game Pass for PC for free.

You can sign up for the beta today by downloading the new Xbox app on Windows 10.
