Overwatch: Baptiste Reunion Challenge is live

Nine victories is all it takes to unlock a gorgeous new skin.

Blizzard has announced that Baptiste’s Reunion Challenge is now live.

The Reunion Challenge comes in the wake of yesterday’s new Overwatch short story “What you left behind,” which follows Baptiste on a dangerous mission in his home of Port-de-Paix, Haiti. A number of mysteries surrounding Baptiste’s past were solved, specifically his reasons behind leaving Talon, but a whole new set of mysteries have taken root in the Overwatch universe. Two new Talon agents were introduced, and it looks like one of them is likely to become one of Overwatch’s newest heroes.

For the full details on everything we learned for Baptiste’s new short story, you’ll want to head here.

As with the Ana Bastet and D.Va Nano Cola challenges before it, Baptiste’s Reunion Challenge is here to celebrate new information on the hero by allowing players to unlock a brand new epic skin, and a number of other cosmetic items.

Of course, you have to play to win. It will take players nine wins in Quick Play, Competitive Play, and/or Arcade to earn four limited-time cosmetic items: a player icon, two sprays, and the epic Combat Medic Baptiste skin.

Players can also watch Twitch streamers that are participating in the event to earn even more Baptiste-themed sprays. There are a total of six extra sprays players can each, and Blizzard requires you to watch a total of six hours of Overwatch Twitch streams to get them all. Check them out below.

It’s important to note that to receive your Twitch drops, you must link your Blizzard account to your Twitch account. To link your account simply log in to your Twitch account and go to your Twitch connections page. Once there click “connect” next to Blizzard and follow the instructions. Then you watch participating streamers and earn your sprays! Here’s the full schedule of participating streamers.

Baptiste’s Reunion Challenge runs June 18 to July 1.
