DC revealed a robust new lineup of YA and Middle Grade titles at the Book Buzz panel Saturday morning at the American Library Association’s (ALA) annual convention in Washington D.C.. The announcement goes hand-in-hand with DC’s plan to expand its Books for Young Readers program which it will use to put its slew of new graphic novel titles into the hands of young adults and middle grade readers. The new titles will start hitting shelves in 2020 and through 2021.
Heroes such as Wonder Woman, Batman, Superman, the Teen Titans, and more will be thrust into the spotlight with the goal of bringing a new generation of fans into the DC family. To make these new stories as accessible as possible to new fans, they will function as standalone stories and are not part of DC’s ongoing comic book continuity.
