This week’s WWE 205 Live will take place at Full Sail University

The purple brand will be emanating from the NXT Arena this week, but is it a permanent move?

WWE’s oft-neglected purple brand will be emanating from Full Sail University this week, the company confirmed today.

“This week,” WWE’s statement reads, “WWE 205 Live will emanate from the very arena where Finn Bálor made his shocking NXT return and Superstars like Samoa Joe and Shinsuke Nakamura began their WWE careers, the NXT Arena at Full Sail University!”

It’s unclear if the show is going to move to Full Sail permanently, or if this is just a one-off. Likely, it’s an experiment to see if the Cruiserweight brand is better received from the so-called NXT Arena than it is taped after SmackDown like it is now.

You can catch 205 Live Friday nights at 10pm ET.
