World of Warcraft: Queen Varian Wrynn cosplay by Ashley Oshley

Presenting her royal highness, cosplayer Ashley Oshley as World of Warcraft’s Queen Varian Wrynn.

“A just cause is always worth fighting for!”

BlizzCon 2016: Cosplayer Ashley Oshley put together an amazing Queen Varian Wrynn genderbend cosplay/armor which earned her 2nd place in the BlizzCon Costume Contest.

BlizzCon 2019: Cosplayer Ashley Oshley updates her Queen Varian Wrynn cosplay/armor and takes home first place as the BlizzCon 2019 Armour Winner. Not only is the armor amazingly intricate and ornate — check out the detail in Shalamayne, Varian Wrynn’s magically fused sword. For the Alliance!

“I cannot do this father. I can't be the hero you were. I can't be the king you were." . Carrying on the set with Saduin. 😔 For me, some of Anduin’s most compelling parts to his character are his internal struggles to find strength and how he is forced to grow up so fast. He is only about 19 years old in BFA yet he is suddenly the High King of Stormwind commanding the Alliance military in a huge war effort after suddenly losing his father, Varian, to the Legion. He is conflicted about the kind of leader he wants to be vs the kind of leader he is expected to be. Anduin has always been a voice of reason, patience and kindness, even counselling his father away from brash decisions. Many people think he has to be stronger, but he shows strength in many ways and he doesn’t have to be Varian’s copy to be a good king. Anduin’s compassion and level-headedness makes him a natural leader and a great ambassador for peace. I believe in his continued growth and ability to lead and he just needs to believe in himself, too. ☺️💙💛 . Armour materials: Worbla wrapped EVA foam base with Worbla detailing.
