John Morrison signs multiyear deal with WWE

Who else is excited to see a slo-mo entrance?

Tuesday evening on WWE Backstage it was revealed that John Morrison has signed a multiyear deal with WWE and will once again grace fans with the best slow motion entrance in wrestling.

Morrison confirmed the news on Twitter.

As of yet there’s no word available on how many years Morrison signed for or what brand he’ll be assigned to. Regardless, fans will be happy to see Morrison wrestling again on Raw, Smackdown, or NXT, as the flashy Hollywood star hasn’t been seen on WWE programming since leaving the company in 2011.

Since leaving WWE Morrison has done a number of small films, several that he funded entirely himself. He’s also kept up with his in-ring appearances, wrestling for Impact Wrestling under the name Johnny Impact, Lucha Underground as Johnny Mundo, and a number of other small promotions.
