Nintendo Switch: 6 classic games will be added to the NES and SNES online collection

The Nintendo Switch NES and SNES online collections add six classic games to its library in December.

The Nintendo Switch Online library will be adding six classic games to the fold on December 12th.

The NES online collection adds Journey to Silius, a side-scrolling run-and-gun game developed by Sunsoft in 1990 and Crystalis, a cult classic RPG/action-adventure game developed by SNK.

The SNES collection adds Star Fox 2, the sequel to Star Fox whose original release in 1993 was cancelled due to the looming launch of the N64; Super Punch-Out!!, the sequel to Mike Tyson’s Punch-Out; Kirby Super Star, a 1996 platformer developed by HAL Laboratory and Breath of Fire II (initially released in 1994), an RPG developed and published by Capcom.

A pretty damn good selection if you ask us. Although we still have our fingers crossed for Super Mario RPG and Donkey Kong Country.

What do you think of the latest additions to the NES and SNES Nintendo Switch online collections? Let us know in the comments.
