WWE wrestlers cannot appear on Vickie Guerrero’s podcast following her work with AEW

Excuse me, WWE!

On a recent episode of her podcast Excuse Me: The Vickie Guerrero Show, WWE alum and current AEW signee Vickie Guerrero noted that after her appearance commentating an episode of AEW: DARK on 12/11, WWE has declined to allow any of its roster onto her podcast.

Noting that WWE didn’t call her for two years, Guerrero asked what she was expected to do for work, saying “What did they expect me to do? Just to sit here and wait for them to call so I could do some work?…I love wrestling. I love to work in the ring. And if someone is giving me an opportunity to go and show up and have some fun, then I should be able to because I’m not obligated to anybody.”

Guerrero, the former wife of deceased WWE Hall of Famer Eddie Guerrero, has made infrequent appearances on their programs in the last decade since “officially” departing in 2014, but a complete divorce seems like more drastic measure than previous scuffs between the two companies and may indicate hostility is increasing behind the scenes.

“So when someone told me I couldn’t interview the Superstars because I went to AEW, I was just like, ‘Wow. They’re gonna be like that.” So you just quietly move on and you see how they are and you just have to take care of your own business.” Guerrero stated.
