Tom spends much of his time either sanding against the grain or trying to convince himself that he knows nothing about anything he thinks he knows something about. Someone once called him a stoic, and it didn’t outrage him or bring him any joy, and he pontificated upon the matter. Sometimes he reads books, and when he does there are usually more words than pictures.
